No matter what the country, ethnic background or event, food is an important part of cel ebrations around the world. It often symbolizes warmth, happi ness, festivity, love and home. Reddi-wip real whipped cream, a holiday staple and American tradition in its own right, has been an important part of family gatherings for more than 50 years. Make these tasty recipes from Reddi-wip a part of your family’s traditions: Festive Apple Tart 1/3 cup apple Juice or water 3 large, tart baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced 1 18-oz. roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough 1/4 Cup sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons lemon Juice Reddi-wip real whipped cream In a large skillet, heat apple juice or water to boiling: add apples. Reduce heat. Cover; sim mer 3 minutes or until apples are tender. With slotted spoon, remove apple slices. Cool slight ly- Press cookie dough into greased and floured 10-inch quiche dish or tart pan or 9- inch pie plate, pressing dough evenly onto the bottom and up the sides of dish. In small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Toss together apple slices, lemon Juice and cinnamon sugar mixture. Arrange apple slices on pre pared crust. Bake in 375 degree i^lliilpg £/wm Imlii torn Mi F. oven, 30 to 40 minutes or until evenly browned and set. Cool slightly. Serve warm topped generously with Reddi-wip real whipped cream. 8 to 10 servings. Chocolatey Mochaccino In large mug or cup. stir together equal amounts of hot milk and strong hot coffee with 2-3 tablespoons chocolate syrup. Top with Reddi-wip real whipped cream and a dash of ground Cinnamon. Makes one serving. Snow-on-the-Roof Pound Cake 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, soft ened ■ /3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup chopped red maraschino cherries 1/3 cup chopped green maraschino cherries 1 prepared pound cake choco late syrup Reddi-wip real whipped cream Additional whole maraschino cherries In bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Stir in chopped cher ries. Slice pound cake length wise into three slices. Spoon or brush a total of 4 tablespoons chocolate syrup over bottom and middle layer. Place bottom cake layer on serving plate; spread with half of cream cheese mix ture. Top with middle layer; spread with remaining cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer.
