Beasley has joined the staff

cer effective Dec. 20.
She brings 22 years of

Chambliss tours county public schools

Chambliss spent the day
visiting Houston County
schools Jan. 11. His plan
was to tour an elementaiy
school, a middle school and
a high school.
By visiting the schools
Chambliss said he would get
a first hand look at what is
going on in the schools. He
also had the chance to
speak one on one with some
of the students, teachers
and other administrative
staff.
Chambliss began his day
at the Houston County
Board of Education offices
where he met with and was

barbecue, bake sale and concerts at the
school Jan. 20. Barbecue plates are $5 and
include homemade pork barbecue from
Cree-Mee Dairy of Unadilla, green beans,
baked potato, bread and dessert.
Take out plates are available at the bus
entrance from 5- 6.30 p.m. or eat in the cafe
teria from 6-8 p.m.
