The Helmuth family from Sarasota, Fla., joins Houston County firefighters in celebrating the hol
iday season. Five members of this family, a mother, father, and three children, were killed earli
er this year during an accident on 1-75 near Perry. Saturday night, rescuers met relatives of the

cess to the University System of Georgia, offering transfer and career programs of recog
nized quality in more than 30 areas of study. Day and evening classes are offered at
campuses in Macon, Warner Robins and on Robins Air Force Base. And, tuition is
affordable. For beginning freshmen, tuition and fees run from $228 for part-time study to
$770 for full-time study per semester.

OPENING IN FALL 2003 is Macon State College’s permanent Warner Robins Campus, now
under construction on Watson Boulevard just a half mile from the main gate at Robins AFB. Macon
State is renovating the historic Thomas School and constructing a 25,000-square-foot addition be
hind it for the new campus. This fall more than 1,500 students attended classes at Macon State’s
Warner Robins Center and Robins Resident Center.

The WB Network
will launch on channel 6, replacing WSB-ABC-Atlanta, ,
and
Food Network /
will launch on channel 29, replacing Goodlife TV. f
These new channels are the two most requested channels we have had
for this area, and we are
happy to be able to offer them in response to your requests.
WSB, which we previously stated would be eliminated from the lineup, will
relocate to channel 10
effective January 1, to be shared with programming by the Houston
County School Board.
In the meantime, we will simulcast WSB on both its current channel (6)
and on channel (10). -
