Region and move to the World
Series.
Carriker plans to use their
time off wisely.
“We need to work on base
running as we got caught a few
times on the bases,” Carriker
said.
“We’re going to pitch our
pitchers everyday so they stay
loose and work on defense.”
Carriker has a great deal of
confidence in her team because
of their chemistry and depth.
“This is the team to do it if
there is one,” Carriker said.
“We have eight pitchers on the
team that we could go to if we
needed to.
“In fact, when we were up at
the state tournament the
administrator up there and sev
eral of the people running the
tournament said ‘Gosh, we’ve
never seen a team like this
before,”’ Carriker said.
