By Judy Hall
HHJ Staff Writer
When have you had a chance
to be an active participant in a
theatrical production? Well,
unless you are involved in com
munity theatre, probably not
any time lately.
Well, here’s your chance. In
the Warner Robins Little
Theatre production of “You
Have the Right to Remain
Dead,” the audience is an active
participant. The murder mys
tery, comedy asks for comments
from the audience as they
attempt to solve the case along
with the cast.
It seems that Fat Daddy has
been killed) but an interesting
twist occurs even in that fact.
You have to watch carefully to
be sure you don’t miss any of
the obvious and less-obvious
clues.
This play-within-a-play has a
lot of interesting twists. Six of

REVIEW
the actors play a double or triple
role, which adds to the confu
sion.
Billy Thomas is perfect in the
role of Fat Daddy/Arnold
Turnbull. Debbie Cruse in her
roles of Sweet Mama/Doris
Turnbull is his match as the
conniving wife of Fat Daddy.
Their daughter, Hyacinth, is
believably played by Leslie
Morales, who also plays the
Leigh Dorsett. Names are
important in this play. Listen
carefully.
Alison Milton is great playing
Savannah, the daughter-in-law
you wouldn’t want to turn your
back on. Milton also fills the
role of Lois Jacobsen and a man.
Jim Kelly does his usual good
job as Harnell Chesterton who
spends most of his time annoy
ing the director, Blanche La

Toure, played beautifully by
Patty Forehand. Remember this
is a play within a play.
A youthful Josh Burke does
well as Clete/Ajax Conroy, the
hired hand who has a close rela
tionship with “the family.”
David Cofield steals the show
as Officer Bainbridge, the
doughnut-eating police officer
and Michael Taylor is perfect as
the sniveling son, Earl/Steve
Randall.
Completing the cast is Lacey
Brantley as Trudy Marsh who
spends the show “fixing” things
such as the lights.
Good job, director Jerry
Reppert. It’s a fun show.
Remaining show dates are
today through Saturday. All
shows are at 8 p.m.
