Ros* Babbitt of Bonaire participated in the National Youth
Leacrship Forum on Medicine in Atlanta July 5-15. In addition
to sie visits to medical schools and clinical facilities, Babbitt
and nore than 350 other high school students from around the
courtry had contact with physicians, surgeins, researchers,
scieitists and medical educators.
Scamon elected state
FFA vice president

ATHENS - Ashley Seamon, of
Perty, was recently elected vice
president of the Georgia FFA
Association.
Stamon, daughter of Keith
and Janet Seamon, is a rising
freslman at Abraham Baldwin
Agricultural College, and built
her leadership and academic
skilis serving as an area FFA
officer; chapter vice president,
high individual in the state ag
sales contest and as a member
of the national winning floricul
ture team. She also has attained
the state’s highest FFA degree
through her leadership and
work in dairy, swine and rabbit
production.
Seamon will travel through
out the state and nation on
behalf of the Georgia FFA
Association in 2003-2004. She
will speak, motivate and pro
vide direction for the organiza
tion. Her leadership will take
the FFA program into its 75th
anniversary.
FFA is an integral component
of agricultural education. FIA
encourages students to gr*w
through leadership activities,
career formulation and perron
al development grovth.
