Floridian dies in accident along 224

PERRY - One man is dead fol
lowing a one-vehicle accident
that occurred Saturday evening.
Ivan Rogers, 59, of Dover,
Fla., was killed after being eject
ed from his vehicle during an
accident that occurred shortly
after 6 p.m. that day.
Rogers was traveling west
along Ga. 224, just outside
Perry, when his vehicle briefly
left the roadway, according to
reports from the Houston
County Sheriffs Department.
Authorities believe he then
overcorrected, and his vehicle

According to an autopsy
report, Rogers may have been
experiencing chest pains, which
could have been a contributing
factor, authorities said.
Rogers, who was not wearing
his seatbelt, was ejected from
the vehicle through the back
window, probably just before his
vehicle overturned and came to

Shoppers look for bargains at a charity yard sale held Saturday at Southside Baptist Church in
Warner Robins to benefit the family of Skyler Krigbaum, a 2-year-old who has endured a rare
form of cancer since conception. The event was sponsored in part by SRA International, an infor
mation technology company and Robins Air Force Base contractor. For the day, more than
