Johnny Appleseed) grabbed the atten tion of students at David A. Perdue Primary School recently. From the pot on his head to the clothes that he wore and the dirt on his feet, Werner brought the legend of Johnny Appleseed alive. Clifford was at Sacred Heart School promoting the Scholastic Book Fair being held Sept 22 through 26. For the past several years, he voluntarily created and maintained the Association Web site (www.cv-afa.org). Most recent ly he developed and coordinated procedures for adver tising, registering and payment for the first ever “Transformation” symposium sponsored by the chapter. The symposium was a tremendous success with over 200 military and civilian leaders in attendance. Over 90 per cent of those in attendance registered and paid online.
