Old recipes and
new for apples
From that earliest
temptation until the dis
covery that they’re
packed with antioxidants,
apples have had a way of
holding their own as a
popular favorite.
And no wonder apples
are beloved. They can be
eaten raw with known
benefits to dental health.
They can be dried,
crushed for cider, sim
mered into sauce or but
ter, covered with taffy or
baked in a pie.

the face of looming state

Georgia Technical College
held its Fourth Annual
Giving Campaign Kickoff on
Monday with special guests
Gov. Sonny Perdue and First
Lady Mary Perdue.
The governor noted that
while MGTC relies largely
on the state for its budget,

For this— reason, the

“The school’s impact has
an ability to recruit industry

“There has been a decrease
in revenue especially, with a
trickle-down effect from 9-
