The amendment was

Chambliss and Miller, co

Brand reports
stolen signs
CENTERVILLE
Mayoral candidate Ronnie
Brand filed a police report
Friday morning after he dis
covered that “the majority”
of his campaign signs, which
had been placed throughout
Centerville, had been
removed during the night.
Brand said he was espe
cially upset that two of the
largest signs - which were
placed at Centerville City
Hall and on Carl Vinson
Parkway - had been taken.
Brand estimated that over
100 signs were stolen some
time after midnight
Thursday. The candidate
said most signs that were
placed in the yards of pri
vate residences were left in
place. At press time, the
Centerville police depart
ment was still investigating
the matter.
