Sitting in my kitchen, an
unexpected but familiar
sound attracted my atten
tion. Turning down the tel
evision, I listened closer to
be certain my ears were not
deceiving me.
Surely enough, evidence
was there. Following a
lengthy period of freedom
from mice, my kitchen was
once again being invaded.
Being aware of the inva
sion, I immediately baited a
trap to get rid of the unwel
come creature. My alert
ness led to quick destruction
of the invader.
Christians should so
quickly recognize invasions
of sin. Awareness and alert
ness prevent the enemy
from taking up permanent
residence within our lives.
We can rid ourselves of
Satan for a while, but when
