Man indicted for fatal wreck

PERRY - A Houston
County man was indicted by
a grand jury this week in
connection with a wreck
that took the life of a 27-
year-old woman last
October.
Edward T. Strickland, 25,
was indicted for homicide by
vehicle, driving under the
influence (per se), driving
under the influence (less
safe), reckless driving, seri
ous iiyury by vehicle, weav
ing on roadway, possession
of open container of alco
holic beverage while operat
ing a vehicle, seatbelt viola
tion, driving without insur
ance, operating vehicle with
out a current decal, too fast
for conditions.

Robins died when the vehi
cle Strickland was driving
was involved in a head-on
collision on Smithville
Church Road.
