the Fall 2004 Middle Georgia Area
Combined Federal Campaign
(CFC) are being accepted from eli
gible local organizations. The CFC
is the annual fundraising program
of employees in the Federal work
place on behalf of charitable
organizations.
The application period is
February 23, 2004 through March
26, 2004.
Application Forms will be mailed
to all participants in the 2003-2004
CFC and other agencies who have
previously requested them. In
addition, forms may be obtained
during normal business hours at

A workshop on eligibility
requirements and completing the

Sealed proposals from prequali

Board of Education, Owner, at the

legally prevailing in Perry,
Georgia, on Thursday, March 25,
2004, for the Renovations,
Modifications and Additions to
Warner Robins Middle School
located on Mary Lane, Warner
Robins, Houston County, Georgia.
At the time and place noted above,
the proposals will be publicly

General Contractor’s Pre-

There will be a Pre-Bid
Conference held on Tuesday,

Attendance at this conference is
MANDATORY for all general con
tractors intending to bid on this
project. Others may attend if they
so desire.
Application for bidding docu
ments, together with deposit of
three hundred dollars ($300.00)
per set, should be filed promptly
with the Architect. Bidding material
will be forwarded as soon as pos
sible. The full amount of the
deposit, less shipping charges, will
be refunded to each general con
tractor who submits a bona fide
bid upon return of such set in good
condition within ten (10) days after
date of opening of bids. All other
deposits will be refunded with
deductions approximating the cost
of reproduction of documents
equal to two hundred dollars
($200.00), plus shipping and han
dling upon return of same in good
condition within ten (10) days after
date of opening of bids.
Contract, if awarded, will be on
a lump sum basis of the base bid
to the lowest responsible and
qualified bidder. No bid may be
withdrawn for a period of 60 days
after time has been called on the
date of opening. Bids must be
accompanied by a bid bond in an
amount not less than 5% of the
base bid. Both a performance
bond and a payment bond will be
required in an amount equal to
100% of the contract price. The
Owner reserves the right to reject
any or all bids and to waive techni
calities and formalities.
