Dish Network will offer local
TV channels by satellite tel
evision to subscribers in
Houston County and others
in Middle Georgia.
The following local TV
channels will be available:
ABC Channel 58 (WPGA),
CBS Channel 13 (WMAZ),
FOX Channel 24 (WGXA),
NBC Channel 41 (WMGT)
and PBS Channel 29
(WDCO).
This is the first time local
TV channels have been
made available on satellite
in Middle Georgia, provid
ing an alternative to local
cable TV service. Dish
Network offers local chan
nels as part of its Digital
Home Advantage.
The company offers a
number of installation pack
ages, which include free
installation for up to four
TVs, with no commitment
and no hardware to buy.
Customers can call Dish
