Union). The course is designed
to introduce women to the psy
chological and physical dynam
ics of personal self-defense.
Women ages 13 and older may
attend. Those who are between
13 and 17 years old must be
accompanied by legal guardian.
Participants should wear
sportswear. Space is limited;

BYRON - Bernice Ann Gruber, 64,
passed away on July 21, 2004 at Houston
Medical Center. Services will be held at 2
p.m. Sunday, July 25, at Southside Baptist
Church, with interment following in
Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation
will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, July
24, at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
donations be made to Abilities Discovered
Inc., 211 Corder Road, Warner Robins,
GA 31088.
Gruber was employed by Abilities Discovered Inc. She
was a member of Southside Baptist Church for 36 years and
attended Jars of Clay Sunday School Class.
Born in Buckhead, Gruber was the daughter of the late
William and the late Zelma Coggins. She was predeceased
by her husband, Bill Gruber.
She is survived by her ten children: son, Jerry Gruber of
Warner Robins; son, Terry Gruber of Warner Robins;
daughter, Sherry Campbell of Byron; son, Pat Gruber of
Warner Robins; daughter, Donna Day of Bonaire; daughter,
Ronda Turner of Kennesaw; daughter, Laurie Moore of
Warner Robins; daughter, Beth Jennings of Covington;
daughter, Billie Peacock of Bonaire; son, Matthew Gruber of
Warner Robins; brother, the Rev. Bill Coggins of Milan; 24
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

DONALD MARTIN
WARNER ROBINS - Donald Martin, 42, of Warner
Robins, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Heritage
Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. The Rev.
Bobby Pope will officiate.
Martin, a native of Clovis, N.M., was retired from Robins
Air Force Base.
Survivors include his children, Chaz Martin of Byron and
Samantha Martin of Warner Robins; parents, Leonard and
Sarah Martin of Warner Robins; siblings, Calvin Martin and
Susan Hinson of Warner Robins, Sharon Bissette of
Cochran, Sandra Icard of Bonaire and Orval Martin of
Macon; and grandchild, Emily Martin of Byron.
The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of
Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA
31088.

CLYDE 1. STEWART
WARNER ROBINS - Clyde E. Stewart, 81, of Warner
Robins, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004. Services will be pri
vate.
Stewart, a native of Holton, Kansas, was retired from
Robins Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by his wife
of 50 years, Doris Stewart.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Sweigert of Denver,
Colo.
