Suspect nabbed in bank robbery
Houston County man accused of robbing Albany bank as well

WARNER ROBINS - The Warner
Robins Police Department believes an
Albany State University senior robbed
the CB&T Bank' on Watson Boulevard
July 15.
A warrant was signed this week for
the arrest of Kent Edward Jordan Jr.,
21, of 108 Keith Drive, Warner Robins,
for the robbery. Jordan’s parents also
live in the city. His mother would not
comment when contacted Friday.
Jordan is in custody at the
Dougherty County Jail for allegedly
robbing a branch of Bank of America

beries, according to police officers with
the WRPD and the Albany Police

Around 11:30 a.m. July 15, an armed
gunman robbed the CB&T Bank of
Middle Georgia at 1444 Watson Blvd.
The suspect was a six-foot black male
wearing a hood or bandana, black
shirt, dark blue or black jeans and
black shoes. He carried a container
into the bank and left with it filled
with cash. He then fled from the bank
on foot.
“He was just able to leave the scene
is at the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road
and Bernard Drive near downtown.
“This is a great charitable thing for the
people of Warner Robins,” said Warner
Robins Mayor Donald Walker during the
ceremony.

Couple accused
of murder plot

sought to have

BONAIRE - A murder
for-hire plot was reportedly
foiled this week with the
help of a confidential jail
informant and investigators
from three local agencies.
Investigators in the jail,
the Houston County
Sheriffs Criminal
Investigation Division and
the 78th Security Forces
Squadron at Robins Air
Force Base worked together
to ensnare a Bonaire couple
alleged to be planning a
murder.
Jessica Gladue, 25, and
Sgt. Matthew Wray Gladue,
28, both of Bonaire, were
jailed on two counts each of
criminal conspiracy to com
mit murder and criminal
attempt to commit murder.
According to Houston
County Sheriffs
Investigator Joe Sendek, the
Gladues conspired and
attempted to hire a hit man
to kill a witness and his wife
in Sgt. Gladue’s upcoming
trial. He was arrested July
16 for making terroristic
threats against two fellow
