• Tucker Elementary School
is hosting Christmas with
Carrabba’s. Adult dinner plates
are $lO each, and children’s
plates are $5 each. Dinner will
be served from 6 until 7 p.m.
The book fair and Santa Shop
will be open during dinner. The
fourth grade and chorus will
present a free Christmas musi
cal from p.m. until 8 p.m. in the
lunchroom.
• The Houston County High
School Band will perform in
concert at 7 p.m.
• Musicians from Warner
Robins High School will per
form a Christmas Concert in
conjunction with Warner
Robins Middle School at 6:30
p.m. in the Warner Robins Civic
Center. Donations of canned
food items are being accepted
as admission.
• The Warner Robins Middle
School band concert for sev
enth- and eighth-graders
begins at 7 p.m. in the Warner
Robins Civic Center.
• The Westfield Chorus will
present a concert of Christmas
music at 7:30 p.m. in the ele
mentary library on the school
campus. Admission is free.
Friday, Dec. 10
• A Christmas Open House
will be hosted by U.S. Rep. Jack
Kingston (R-Savannah) at his
office, 402-B Corder Road,
Warner Robins, from 10:30-
11:30 a.m. All are invited.
• Henderson Village will host
a holiday meal from 6-10 p.m.
in the historic Langston House
Restaurant. Local musician
Michael Robinson will play
favorite seasonal songs on his
hammered dulcimer.

Georgia Chapter of the
American Red Cross will host a
5K Holiday Fun Run/Walk
beginning and ending in
Fountain Park, Kimberly Road,
Warner Robins. Registration
begins at 8 a.m.; race begins at
9:30 a.m.; awards ceremony
begins at 11:30 a.m. Cost is sls
for run ners/walkers who regis
ter by Dec. 15; S2O on the day of
the event. Advance fee includes
a T-shirt, participation ribbon,
a gift bag and after-race
refreshments. The event is a
fund-raiser for the Houston-
Middle Georgia Chapter of the
American Red Cross. All funds
go toward helping local resi
dents in need of the Red Cross

Christmas Tree Round-Up

chipped into mulch and used to
keep our parks green and beau
tiful. Others will be deposited
in area lakes and streams to
improve the habitat of fish. As
a special bonus, you will receive
a free tree seedling for each
tree you bring on Jan. 8.
Truckloads are welcome. The
Great Christmas Tree Round-
Up is co-sponsored by Flint

Service Inc. and hosted by Keep
