Wanted couple picked
up at pawnshop
By RAY LIGHTNER
HHJ Staff Writer
WARNER ROBINS - A
visit to a pawnshop on
Thursday led to the arrest of
two for financial transaction
card fraud.
Police responded to a
North Davis Drive pawn
shop to arrest a wanted
man, Thomas Albert
Morgan, 21, 204 Grove
Lane, Warner Robins, who
was spotted in the parking
lot. Morgan has two war
rants for financial transac
tion card fraud and financial
transaction card theft.
Found in his car were four
receipts including a pawn
ticket, three hypodermic
needles and a spoon, accord
ing to reports.
Morgan’s girlfriend,
Kristen Michelle Forrester,
19, 104 Southwick Drive,
Bonaire, was inside the
pawnshop and was arrested
when she came out, for one
count of financial transac
tion card fraud.
Forget something?
Two women were
observed shoplifting at
Beall’s Outlet on Watson
Boulevard on Friday. One
was detained and left her
purse with her ID. She was
not at home when police
arrived. Warrants will be
issued.
Mistaken identity?
Two men were arrested on
drug charges after flagging
down an off-duty police offi
cer early Christmas morn
ing.
According to a police
report, an officer driving on
Chris Drive was flagged
down by Eric Langham, 33,
Byron, who had mistaken
him for one of his friends. As
he searched Langham - who
had consented to a search -
the officer heard the sound
of glass hitting his truck.
When asked why he was
dropping items in the offi
cer’s truck, Langham
reportedly said, “Man, it’s
just a crack pipe.”
Two crack pipes were
secured and Langham taken
into custody, and charged
with loitering - drug-relat
ed. The other occupants of
the car also consented to
search, and denied posses
sion of any illegal items.
But a small, red bag con
taining a green, leafy sub
stance was reportedly found
in the right front coin pock
et of Leon Cox, 113 Marilyn
Drive, Warner Robins. He
was arrested for possession
of marijuana less than one
ounce. The female driver
was searched and released
with her car.
No turn signal
leads to moth
charges
John Matthew Pittman,
25, 718 Houston Lake Road,
Centerville, was arrested
Saturday for driving on a
suspended license, not sig
naling a turn and possession
of methamphetamine. He
was stopped on Self Drive
after not signaling a turn.
He admitted to not having a
valid license. It was sus
pended in 1997. A search of
Pittman revealed a syringe
and a spoon, according to
reports. Also found was a
small, black bag containing
a crystal-like substance,
which tested positive for
methamphetamine.
