Man to serve 18 months for five pounds of pot in the mail

victed on one count of pos

A Houston County
Sheriffs deputy pulled over
the 1998 Ford Taurus after
reportedly observing the
driver and passenger not
wearing a seatbelt and the
driver making an improper
left turn.
The driver, Carberry, like
his passengers, had no ID on
him. He told the deputy his
license should be valid after
paying them - the state of
New Hampshire - a lot of
money to reinstate it. He

possession with intent to
distribute as the case could
be tried either way when the
amount is between one
ounce and 10 pounds. He
said the sentence is the
same either way, one to 10
years.

Carberry was also charged
with driving while license
suspended, no insurance,
suspended registration,
improper turn and posses
sion of marijuana, less than
one ounce.

seats was a Marlboro ciga

juana cigarette, and a pack

Henderson praised the
work of Tim Marlow on the
case.
“Tim did a great job exam
ining witnesses, conducting
voir dire of the jury and
making the State’s closing
as methamphetamine. Both
men were taken to jail.

account he does not have.
Twenty-three schools have

total of 34 in the system.
Many schools have received
the award more than once,
bringing the total to 30 times
awarded in the system.
