The first Harry Potter Trivia night was held Tuesday
night at the Warner Robins Library. There were about a
dozen children there trying their luck with the quiz while
parents their parents cheered them on. Children’s
Librarian Jamie Harvester, shown above, asked the
questions.
Don't ever
say never
For many years, there was
one color that I would not
wear. It truly made me feel
sad and depressed. I do not
know why, perhaps I realize
the reason one day. Anyway,
I said that I would NEVER
wear this color again. Have
you figured out what color I
am talking about? Well, it is
the color brown.
I have loved wearing cool
and neutral colors. Black
and red are staple items in
my wardrobe. Hot pink and
navy blue are two other
favorites. However, brown
was a color I did not even
consider buying. But, dur
ing the past two weeks, I
have purchased two outfits
that are brown. The color is
not called brown but it is
“Hazelnut.” Well, it is
brown to me. The other out
fit is a brown fabric with a
pattern in both the blazer
and the skirt.
Why have I done this?
Well, I discovered that
brown is a new neutral color.
It is a color that can be worn
with both the yellow and
green warm tones as well as
the cool colors such as pink.
Have you noticed that the
clothing industry has shown
the brown with the pink for

suits and dresses? Well, I
realized that the brown tone
is a great winter color. My
purchases are servicable for
both casual and professional
occasions. The hazelnut
suit is made of a denium
material which is a favorite
of mine!
It can also be attributed to
the new hair color that I
have. It is amazing to see
what different clothing col
ors you can wear when you
change your hair color!
So, never say never on a
color. Styles change and so
do our preferences. I
encourage you to try on a
brown (or hazelnut) outfit!
It will amaze you!
