Grades regional competi
tions held across the state
on Jan. 8.
Perry Middle School’s
team, coached by Charlene
Kipe and LeSan Kimbrough,
will join 22 other teams in
the Semi-finals Competition
to be held this Saturday at
Stratford Academy in
Macon. The four winning
teams from that competition
will advance to the State
Finals to be held at the 755
Club located at Turner Field
in Atlanta on Feb. 7.

open the doors to the uni
versity’s newest campus
facility with a ribbon-cut

Achievement Recognition)
and the PAGE Georgia
Academic Decathlon (GAD).
Through its sponsorship of
Future Educators of
faculty, staff and students,
members of the University
System’s Board of Regents
and Chancellor’s Office,
local and state legislators,
and members of area gov
ernmental, business, media,
financial and civic communi
ties.
Also expected are area
educators, presidents of
neighboring University
System of Georgia institu
tions, local and area reli
gious leaders, and FVSU
Foundation and Alumni
