ANNIE B. CHANEY
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie B. Chaney of Unadilla
were held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in the Camp
Creek First Baptist Church in Unadilla. Burial was in the
Mt. Moriah Church Cemetery. The Rev. John H. Thomas
officiated.
Chaney died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, in the Houston Medical
Center. He was a native of Clay County. She was a member
of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church were she served as a
Sunday school teacher and president of the missionary
board. She was a homemaker and the widow of the late
John Chaney.
Survivors include her children, Jahira (Carol) Chaney of
New Jersey, Willie ( Essie) Chaney of Fla., Sandra Chaney of
New Jersey, Geraldine Dotson of Warner Robins, Barbara
(Clarence) Daniely of Fort Valley, Barnie (Willie Mae)
Chaney of Vienna, Carl (Mildred) Chaney of Centerville,
and Milton (Mable) Chaney of Unadilla; a daughter-in-law,
Elizabeth Chaney of New Jersey; 20 grandchildren.
Alvie Coes Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of
arrangements.
FRANCES CATHERINE HORTMAN
WARNER ROBINS - Frances Catherine Hortman, 76, of
Warner Robins, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2005. Graveside
funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY)
in the Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The
Revs. Dan and Claudine Gatlyn will officiate.
Hortman, a native of Crawford County, was the daughter
of the late Wiley H. and Allie Mae Harper Hortman.
Survivors include her daughter Lisha Greene Crosby of
Warner Robins; siblings: Nadine Harper of Ivey, Charles J.
Hortman of Byron, Raymond Hortman of Zebulon and
Lonnie “Tom” Hortman of Roberta.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrange
ments.
SANDRA JEAN JACKSON
Funeral services for Sandra Jean Williams Jackson of
Unadilla were held noon Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, in the
Unadilla CME Church in Unadilla. Interment will be pri
vate. The Rev. Robert C. Taylor will officiate. Jackson died
Friday in a local hospital. She was a native of Dade County,
Fla.
She was the daughter of Lillie Ellen Williams and the late
James W. Williams. She was a member of the greater St.
Matthew Holiness Church of Florida. She attended Dade
County Public Schools. She and her husband have lived in
Dooly County since 2000.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Jackson 111 of
Unadilla; a son, Steverick Jackson of Homestead, Fla.;
stepchildren, Steve Jackson IY Joycelin Collier and Natasha
Jackson, all of Leisure City, Fla.; her mother, Lillie Williams
of Unadilla; two brothers, Harvey (Theresa) Williams of
Texas and James (Karen) Williams of Columbus; a mother
in-law, Geraldine Brown of Unadilla; two brothers-in-law;
four aunts; one uncle; six grandchildren.

Suspected dealers nabbed for pot, coke and pills

WARNER ROBINS -
Policte arrested four suspected
drug dealers in the past week
in three separate incidents.
The suspects were allegedly
dealing prescription drugs,
cocaine or marijuana.
On Saturday, Amelia Ann
Sullivan, 44, 4016 Todd
Circle, Warner Robins, was
arrested for possession of con
trolled substances with intent
to distribute on Talon Court.
She was reportedly found
with 50 hydrocodone pills in
two bottles.
Police were at the scene
regarding a suspicious person
and made contact with
George Henry Ayers, 628
Miller Drive, Warner Robins.
When he was asked why he
was in the neighborhood,
Ayers reportedly told police
he was waiting for a female
named Amy who was sitting
around the corner. Ayers was
charged with possession of a
controlled substance after
police found him in possession
of three generic Xanax pills,
which he reportedly claimed
to have purchased from
Sullivan.
Ayers reportedly identified
the woman as her Land Rover
came around the corner and
that vehicle was stopped. The
driver and passenger,
Sullivan, denied knowing
Ayers and Sullivan said they
were in the areas to get a key
from a friend. That story was
confirmed by the driver, who
consented to a search of the
vehicle.
Sullivan refused to consent
to a search of her person. The

vehicle search turned up a pill
bottle without a label in the
storage space on the passen
ger-side front door. The driver
said it was not hers and the
passenger said it was not the
driver’s.
A similar pill bottle was
reportedly observed in
Sullivan’s pocket. After being
given the Miranda advisory,

WILMA HENRY RIGHT
PERRY - Wilma Henry Right, 91, died Sunday, Jan. 30,
2005, at a local nursing home. Graveside services were noon
Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church
Cemetery <?n the church campground.
Right, born in Center, Ky., daughter of the late Walter G.
and Ethel (Huffman) Henry, had resided here since 2002.
She was a former resident of Bowling Green, a homemaker
and preceded in death by her husband, Nathan C. Right.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Rosemary Henry of
Bowling Green.

IDUMA SHAW ROBERSON
Funeral services for Iduma Shaw Roberson of Byromville
were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in the Little
Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Byromville. Burial was in
the church cemetery. The Rev. M. Willis officiated.
Roberson died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at her residence. She
was a native of Dooly County, the daughter of the late John
and Lula Shaw, the widow of the late Charlie Roberson. She
was a member of The Little Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, including
Prentice Taylor and Louise Kindel, who resided with her
and a number of other relatives.

PERRY - Kaitlyn Abigail Ross went home to be with the
Lord on Jan. 29, 2005. Graveside funeral services will be at

She is survived by her parents, Joshua and Trellany Little

held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, at the

with interment following in Magnolia
Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6
until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2 (TODAY),
at McCullough Funeral Home.
Simerly was born in San Antonio, Texas, on April 28,
1958. He graduated from Northside High School in 1976,
where he won the state championship for the Rifle Team
and was a member of the ROTC. After high school, Simerly
went on to join the U.S. Navy where he served on the U.S.S.
Kitty Hawk. He then took a job in Groton, Conn., as a com
puter technician with General Dynamics, where he worked
for five years. Simerly followed his dreams to New York City
where he worked as a stage manager for the Sally Jesse
Raphael Show, the Rush Limbaugh Show, the Phil Donahue
Sullivan reportedly said Ayers
paid her to get the pills, which
she obtained from a Talon
Court residence using Ayers’
money.

FLOYD E. THALLER
KATHLEEN - Floyd E. Trailer, 76, passed
away on Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Houston
Medical Center. Funeral services will be held
at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 (TODAY),
at Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Graveside
services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at
Memphis Memorial Gardens in Memphis, Tenn. Visitation
was 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at McCullough
Funeral Home.
Trailer was born June 11, 1928 in Calhoun County, Ark.,
to the late Fred Luther and Florence Trailer. He was a vet
eran of the U.S. Army and was retired from civil service on
Robins Air Force Base, where he worked as a system analyst
for 35 years. Trailer was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist
Church.
Survivors include, loving and devoted wife, Jackie Trailer
of Kathleen; son, Ronald E. Trailer of Memphis, Tenn.; son,
Keith Allen of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Jennifer Smith of
Kathleen; and several grandchildren.

WARNER ROBINS - Michele A. Twigg,
47, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 30,
2005, at Emory University Hospital.
Services will be private. Visitation will be

2005, at McCullough Funeral Home.

Twigg was born in West Palm Beach,
Fla. She was a member of Calvary
Heartland Chapel. She was a beloved
wife and devoted mother of three. She is preceded in death
by her mother Pauline Allen.

Warner Robins; sons, John R. Twigg of New Hampshire,
Shaun M. Twigg of Florida; daughter, Kelli E. Twigg of
Warner Robins; sisters, Evelyn Ann Andrews (Buddy) of
North Carolina, Kathleen Brown (Dowdell) of Florida, Lolli
Fink (Scott) of Florida; brother, Raymond W. Allen Jr.
