Christopher Allan Dunn of Perry graduated recently from Valdosta State University with
a bachelor’s degree in political science. Pictured are (from left) his mother, Janet L.
Dunn, fiancee Jennifer Hambrick of Newnan, and father Ronald C. Dunn. Hambrick
graduated from VSU in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance. Chris
Dunn is employed as general manager of Best Buy in Atlanta. He is the grandson of
James and the late Donna Woenker of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and the late James E. Dunn and
the late Joyce J. Dunn of Jamestown, N.Y.

Perry Middle School students celebrated Geography Awareness Week recently by
wearing geography-themed shirts or jackets representing cities, states, or habitats.
Students also participated in daily trivia contests sponsored by the Georgia Geographic
Alliance and listened to their teachers read aloud books with a geographic theme.

For 49 years, Central Baptist Church has been spreading the Gospel of
Jesus Christ to the residents of Warner Robins from their location at
1647 Watson Boulevard.
