CAM RE-TESTING, Fee - $78.00.
CNA re-testing will be conducted by appointment only. This is for those CNAs whose names
appear on the Georgia Registry and need to be re-certified. Applicants should call the Registry
at 404-657-5730 prior to registering to make sure they are eligible for re-certification and pres
ent letter from GA Medical Care Foundation when registering.

THIS 40-HOUR CLASS IS DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND
FIRST-TIME USERS, INCLUDING THE COMPUTER-PHOBIC. This computer class is
the first step toward a successful computer experience using Microsoft Office XP.

MEDICAL/HEALTH
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA), Fee - $ 279.00
This course provides learning experiences through classroom work, laboratory, and sixteen
(16) hours of on-the-job training at Houston Health Care Complex. Fee includes liability
insurance and CNA pin as well as CPR. Requirements include textbook, watch with second
hand, stethoscope, and for clinical a navy/black skirt or pants, white top and white shoes. Each
student must also show evidence of a negative TB skin test prior to entering the clinical setting.
The cost is $5.00 at the health department and is not included in the tuition. CPR certification
is included. Textbook required.

MONEY MANAGEMENT & HOMEOWNERSHIP WORKSHOPS - Fee $75 ea or $125

Each workshop is 10 hours in length and is designed to educate participants about money
management and the barriers of becoming homebuyers. Both workshops will meet on Tuesdays
& Thursdays from 6 pm - 9pm.

EPA (FREON) CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION - $ 50.00
In partnership with ESCO Institute, this 3-hour EPA approved certification testing program
meets the requirements set forth in Section 608 of the Clean Air Act. Fee includes Test Prepara
tory Manual that should be picked up at the Cont. Ed. Office.
