By RAY LIGHTNER
HHJ Staff Writer
WARNER ROBINS -
Houston County Sheriff’s

some drugs at a couple of
traffic stops Thursday in the
area of Elberta Road and
Carl Vinson Parkway.
Deputies stopped Jessica

Parkway at Durango Drive
for allegedly weaving in the
roadway.
While a deputy checked
her license, Bandit was
walked around the car to
conduct a free-air sniff of
the vehicle. Bandit reported
ly gave a positive Mert to
both the driver and passen

The driver was advised of
the alert and consented to a
search of the vehicle. The
passenger, Lindsey O’Brien,
22, 115 Lindsey Drive,
Byron, was reportedly
observed pulling something
out of her left pocket and
placing it in her purse.
The search began with the
purse, in which was found
an open wallet containing a
green plastic bag - contain
ing suspected methamphet

The deputy then exited
the car and advised the pas
senger to put her hands
behind her. She asked why,
and was told for violation of
the Georgia Controlled
Substance Act. Sharp was
also placed into custody at
this time.
The search of the car was
resumed and a plastic bag
