Scenes from Westfield students’ production of “Annie”

PERRY - The Westfield Schools
Gymnatorium was packed last
Friday morning as the elemen
tary school students presented
their own version of the
Broadway hit, “Annie!” for their
grandparents.
There was not just one, but
dozens of red-haired, freckle
faced Annies, and Sandy was a
very cooperative (if stuffed)
pooch.

Against a stunning New York
City backdrop, the third and
fourth grade girls sang “Maybe,”
the third glass class performed
“Hard Knock Life, the pre
kindergartners sang “Dumb Dog
Sandy,” third and fourth graders
sang “NYC,” the kindergarten
class sang “Easy Street,” the sec
ond graders sang,’’You’re Never
Fully Dressed Without a A
Smitle,and the First Graders M
sang, “I Don’t Need Anythim®
But You.” JM
The theme song, “Tomorrow,”
was sung by all, with u stsg&ling
ovation from theaudienog:
