The Pilot Club of Warner Robins has an ongoing project to keep the Warner Robins
Safe House in needed items, such as combs, brushes, washcloths, soap, shampoo, and
many other personal items. These items are donated by all members of the Pilot Club
and individualized by putting them in a “ditty” bag. Kate Burke has personally made the
ditty bags for a number of years and continues to make approximately 50-100 each
year. In addition to making the multicolored bags, Burke fills them to the brim with nec
essary items for those who need them. Shown with Burke is Verdie Wilson, president
of the Warner Robins Pilot Club.
