A Ford Expedition believed to have been involved in an incident
Monday morning in which a house was struck by the truck.

WARNER ROBINS - The driver
of a blue Ford Expedition allegedly
rammed a house at 200
Pebblebrook East Monday morn
ing, causing damage to the front of
the home. Residents declined to
talk about the incident with the
media.
Police apparently stopped a sus
pect vehicle in the parking lot of
the nearby Second Baptist Church.
The vehicle had some front-end
damage and a flat driver’s side
front tire.
Further information was not
available Monday morning, as the

Friday night. The residents and their dogs were not
injured but lost clothes and money and had no place to
stay.

CENTERVILLE - Friday
night’s fire at 207 Bassett
Drive totaled the house,
according to Centerville Fire
Chief Larry Sharpless.
Sharpless said the exact
cause of the fire is still
under investigation, but it
appears to have started in
the garage.
“Black smoke was pouring
out of the roof before we got
the call,” he said.
Sharpless said the smoke
and heat contributed to the
damage.
“The home was burnt
pretty bad,” he said. “It’s
not livable.”
The residents of the home
stood by and watched as city
and county firefighters
worked to put out the blaze
They were not injured, but
lost clothes and money and
had no place to stay.
Sharpless said the American
Red Cross assisted the fami
ly and some valuable papers
and a pocketbook were
located once the fire was
out.
Houston County Fire
Chief Jimmy Williams said
his department was there

Timothy Mulkey and Arthur
Rogers were both
arrested and charged
with aggravated
assault Sunday
evening after Mulkey
allegedly drove past
701 Paul St., and shot
at the house.
Rogers reportedly
returned fire at the
vehicle. There were

Department. Williams noted
one firefighter suffered a
minor injury, a cut to his
hand, while fighting the fire.

Fire Rescue vehicles, and
Houston County Fire
Department’s Rescue 1, E
-11 and E-71 from Crestview
Community as well as sever
al volunteer firefighters
from the county.
