Thursday, May 12, 2005, at
his residence. A memorial
service was held at 11 a.m. Monday in the I
chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral jf jA.

Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Golden will |_
officiate.
Baer, a native of Bartonville, 111., wets the son of Theresa
Baer the late Samuel H. Baer. He was retired from the U.S.
Air Force and Robins Air Force Base. He was a former mem
ber of the Elks Club and the Old Crows Society. His sister,
Theresa Baer preceded him in death. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne “Sue” Baer; children,
Robert E. Baer Jr. of Fort Valley, Dennis (Frances) Baer of
Twiggs County, and Christine M. (Van) Hoskinson of
Wentzville, Mo.; mother, Theresa Baer of Peoria, 111.; sib
lings, Harold Baer of Mapleton, 111., Dorothy S. Schlink of
Bartonville, 111.; grandchildren, Dennis Baer, John Baer,
Evan Baer, Lanise Baer, Felicia Hoskinson, Van Logan
Hoskinson and Karsen Hoskinson; and several nieces and
nephews.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the
funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American
Cancer Society or the Sacred Heart Catholic Church
Building Fund, 250 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA
31088.

WARNER ROBINS - John H. Bell Jr„ 76,
passed away Saturday, May 14, 2005. Services ■ ■
will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday (TODAY) at the fi

p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bell was bom in Birmingham, Ala., to the late John H.
and Beatrice Eakens Bell Smith. After spending 20 years in
the U.S. Air Force, he retired and worked 20 more years for
Keebler Bakery Company. He was a member of the
American Legion and 40/8 for 35 years, a member of the
Moose Club, a member of the Warner Robins Senior Citizen
Organization and a member of the First Baptist Church of
Warner Robins. Bell was avid gardener and was a devoted
husband and father.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes M. Bell of Warner
Robins; daughter, Betty (Danny) Dupree of Leesburg; sons.
Mark Bell of Warner Robins, David (Jan) Cannon of
Centerville, Jody Cannon of Warner Robins; sister, Carolyn
Suttles of Birmingham, Ala.; brother, William Bell of
Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren and three great-grand
children.
Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of
Warner Robins at 1135 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA
31088; in memory of Mr. Bell.

ANNA M. HABERER
WARNER ROBINS - Anna M. Haberer, 87, passed away
on Friday, May 13, 2005, at Houston Medical Center.
Graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 16,
2005, at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Ala.
Haberer was born April 3, 1918, in Chicora, Miss., to the
late W. N. and Etta Oliver. She was homemaker and a mem
ber of Green Acres Baptist Church. In addition to her par
ents, her husband, David P Haberer, preceded her in death.
Survivors include niece, Elain T. Callahon, Bessemer,
Ala., and nephew, George Smith, Decatur, Ga.

Wolff, born in Quebec, Canada, moved to Elizabethton,
Tenn., in 1931. He attended Tennessee State and the
University of Miami. After a career in the U.S. Army and
U.S. Air Force, he worked for the Lockheed Corp in
Teheran, Iran, and Seattle, Wash., before moving to
Houston County. He retired as an electrician from Robins
Air Force Base. He was member of the VFW Post in Warner
Robins and an avid football fan his entire life.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Peterman Wolff of Elko;
sister, Ida Wolff Copenhaver of Pensacola, Fla.; children,
Priscilla Floyd (Jack) of Gordon, Jeffy Lewis of Elko, Bobby
Lewis (Lee-Lee) of Elko, and Debbie Prater (Ricky) of
Perry; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces,
Ida Copenhaver Ginter of Columbus, Ohio, and Tavia
Copenhaver McCuean of Atlanta; nephew, Dr. Larry
Copenhaver of Pensacola and several great-nieces and
great-nephews.
