• The Bonaire-Kathleen “You Are
The Reason We Relay” Family Fun
Day will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
on the Bonaire United Methodist
Church chapel grounds located at

auction, concessions, raffle, cake
walk, bingo, pony rides, carnival
games and more.
• Central Georgia Christian Home
Educators will hold its annual educa
tional conference and book fair
today at the Georgia National
Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry.
The hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost
is $5 per family. There will be a large
used book and curriculum sale as
well as educational vendors from
around the country. Representatives
from more than a dozen colleges will
be available to answer your ques
tions and give advice on preparing

• Houston Healthcare, in conjunc
tion with Robins Air Force Base, is
hosting its “Slam Dunk Asthma”
camp for kids from 10 a.m. until 2
p.m. at Lake Joy Elementary School.

• The Warner Robins High School
Demons Cheerleaders will hold a

Georgia will present “If you give a
Girl a Mirror” at 7 p.m. at the Warner
Robins Civic Center. The dance pro
gram is based on Laura Numeroff’s
“If You Give a Mouse A Cookie” and
includes jazz, tap and ballet.
Directed by Jennifer Heide and
Barbara Long, with assistance from
Margi Wright, the program features
150 performers costumed in every
color of the rainbow. Backdrops
have been flown in from Hollywood,

Commission (GFC) 14th Biennial
Georgia Fire Equipment Show will
be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at
the Georgia National Fairgrounds
and Agricenter in Perry. The latest
firefighting technology will be pre
sented, including demonstrations of
advanced equipment, accessories,
and static displays. This 2005 fire
show will feature more than 40
exhibitors, ranging from heavy
equipment and helicopters to safety
exhibits. Ticket prices are $8 in
advance, and $lO at the door.

HAZEL KALDER BELLVILLE
PERRY - Hazel Kalder Bellville, 95, formerly of
Evansville, ind., passed away on May 19, 2005, in Perry. She
was pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years, Clarence
Elmer (Ted) Bellville, and a daughter, Peggy Lee Holland,
both of Evansville.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Ed Graening of Perry, and a sister-in-law, Wanda Lee
Bellville Speck of Columbus, Ohio. Bellville leaves seven
grandchildren: Jackie Holland Simpson of Miami, Fla.;
Holly Holland Pearson and Todd Bellville Holland, both of
Evansville; Crcegg Edward Graening of Louisville, Ky.; Glen
Edwin Graening of Battle Creek, Mich.; Gayle Ellen
Graening of Nashville, Tenn.; and Gennifer Graening
Gamble of Ocilla. There are 10 surviving great-grandchil
dren.
Bellville was a longtime member of Bethel United Church
of Christ in Evansville and the Friday Fellowship Group of
the church.
She was a 50-year member of Robert Morris Chapter #B7
of The Order of Eastern Star, Elinar Markel Memorial
Court #l4 of The Order of Amaranth, Bethlehem Shrine
#2 of The Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem as well as a
former Guardian of Job’s Daughters.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2005 in
the Georgian Chapel at Alexander Parklam Cemetery, in
Evansville, Ind. Memorials may be made to Serenity Gate
Hospice in Perry.

The family of Charles “Doc” Underwood would like to thank
all those who prayed so diligently during the past few weeks.
We drew strength from your prayers. We would like to thank
each of those who called, sent cards, visited the hospital, visited
us at home, and brought food and other thoughtful gifts.
Thank you, Brother Charles “Sonny” Works for being there
through the best and worst of times, and for conducting the
service. Thanks also to Brothers Perry Spurling and Charles
Northrup for all the support you have given and for helping
with the service. We would like to offer special thanks to the
construction crew from Highland Telephone for serving as pall
bearers. You will always be a part of our family. Thank you to
David Loudermilk for providing the beautiful music during the
service. Finally, thank you to Schubert Funeral Home for the
special loving care you have shown our family. We love you all
and pray that God’s blessings will be abundant in your lives.
