WARNER ROBINS - A
crowd of blue - not just any
blue, but Northside Eagle blue
- filled the school’s auditorium
to be recognized at the recent
annual Senior Recognition
Program.
There was standing room
only as Principal Tim Scott
explained, “We’re growing.”
Parents, loved ones and
friends stood patiently to
watch their honoree file across
the stage to receive certifi
cates, plaques, honor cords,
scholarships and stoles.
“This is one of few opportu
nities to sit here as the senior
class of 2005,” Scott told stu
dents. “Please take advantage
... I promise you these events
won’t happen again.”
An array of awards were pre
sented as classmates cheered
each other on, congratulating
each other for their accom
plishments.
At the end of the night, sen
ior sponsor Judy Moore, pre
sented a slide show of senior
memories to students and
audience members.
As pop melodies of Christina
Aguilera and Boys II Men were
played students sang along
looking at images of them
selves at homecoming, Senior
Prom, sporting events and pep
rallies.
“These are a lot of times
you’ll never forget,” Scott said.
“Remember we love you and
it’s great to be a Northside
Eagle.”
