• Middle Georgia College will hold a
Summer Open House. The President’s
Reception will be provided at 9:30 a.m.
with coffee and doughnuts in the front
lobby of Walker Hall and the program will
begin at 10 a.m. MGC Ambassadors will
give tours of the campus, including dorm
rooms, classrooms and the dining hall.
Guests are also invited to the Academic
and Organizational Fair following the
tours in Walker Hall. MGC Admissions

• Alex's Lemonade Stands will take
place in downtown Perry from 10 a.m.
until noon, and in front of the Houston
Medical Center Surgery Center on
Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins
from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Alex’s
Lemonade Stand is a nationwide fund
raising event in memory of Alex Scott
who was an 8-year-old little girl, diag
nosed with cancer at the age of 1, with a
mission to raise money to help fight
childhood cancer by selling lemonade.

• A Children's Safety Day will be held
from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Jeff Smith
Dodge in Perry, Exit 135 off Interstate
75. There will be a health fair, blood
pressure screenings, free car seat
checks, clown and face painting, obsta

• The Navy Seabee Veterans of
America will hold its monthly meeting. All

OBITUARY
MACY MICHELLE EASOM
WARNER ROBINS - Macy Michelle Easom, 5, surround
ed by her family, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday,
June 9, 2005, after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2005 (TODAY), at Central
Baptist Church, with interment following in Parkway
Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 7 until 9 p.m.
Friday, June 10, 2005, at McCullough Funeral Home.
Macy was born in Ann Arbor, Mich. She was a member of
Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Jeff and Angel Easom;
brother, Landon Easom; sisters, Megan and Lindsey Easom
of Warner Robins; paternal grandparents, Ed and Earline
Easom of Blakely; maternal grandparents, Gail Daniels of
Duluth; maternal grandparents, Mickey and Melanie
Alexander of Blakely; paternal great-grandparent, Mrs.
Annette Chandler; paternal great-grandparents, Mary
Doris Easom of Blakely; maternal great-grandparent, Mrs.
Mae McDonald of Blakely.
