Students new to Houston
County schools may register
for the 2005-2006 school
year at the school for which
they are zoned. School zones
may be verified online or by
calling the school. Zone
maps are provided on the
Houston County Board of
Education Web page,
www.hcbe.net/zonemaps.ht
ml. Dates for enrollment
and required documentation
are provided below.
All Elementary Schools
Thursday, July 21, and
Friday, July 22
8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and 1
p.m. until 3 p.m.
Parents who wish to regis
ter at another time may do
so but should phone before
going to the school to make
certain appropriate person
nel will be present to regis
ter their children.
All Middle Schools

Vicki
Drive
About 9:54 p.m. Thursday,
a Chuck Circle man was
shot at while getting into his
vehicle at 134 Vicki Drive.
According to Warner
Robins Police, he fled on
foot when he realized the
shots were striking his vehi
cle. He ran to 101 Chuck
Circle to call 911.
There were no reported
injuries, police said.
Police initially responded
to the shots fired call on Oak
Avenue, but determined the
incident took place on Vicki
Drive and contacted the vic
tim on Chuck Circle.
