• In observance of National
HIV Testing Day, free and confi
dential HIV testing will be offered
from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at
Colonial Mall Macon. This test
ing clinic will be held in The
Medical Center of Central
Georgia’s Community Health
and Education Center, upstairs
near Sears. Health educators
from the North Central Health
District (Public Health) and River
Edge Behavioral Health will
administer the testing. Certified
HIV counselors will be available
to provide support and guid
ance. The entire testing and
counseling process is estimated
to take about 20 minutes for
each client. No appointments
are necessary. Clients are asked
to bring some form of picture
identification. Testing for HIV
during this clinic will not involve
needles. The Ora-Sure method
will be used, which only requires
a small swab to be taken from
the client’s mouth. Results from
the tests are expected to be con
fidentially returned within one to

OBITUARY
KENNETH “KENNY” E. BOUTWELL
WARNER ROBINS Kenneth “Kenny” E. BoutweU, 56,
passed away June 18, 2005, in Cedar Key, Fla. Services will
be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005 (TODAY), in the
chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be
private. Visitation was from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home.
Boutwell was bom in Macon to the late James Ronald and
Mary Elizabeth Logue Boutwell Sr. He was employed at
Robins Air Force Base as a painter supervisor in the C-130’s
Paint & De-Paint Division. Boutwell was of the Baptist
faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie Merritt Boutwell of
Warner Robins; daughters Michele Boutwell of Macon,
Trena Peterman of Eastman, Shannon McAllister of Macon,
Tammy Colley of Houschton; son, Shane Boutwell of
Macon; sister, Gloria Corley of Byron; brothers, Bobby E.
Boutwell, Butch Boutwell, both of Byron, and Ronny
Boutwell of Fort Valley; and 13 grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Hospice of Tri-County
Care Center at 311 N. E. 9th St., Chiefland, FL 32626.
Heritage Memorial Funeral is in charge of arrangements.

Meritorious Service to Lt. Willie Johnson of the Perry
Police Department. Johnson was honored for his pursuit
of three burglary suspects in a high-speed chase earlier
this month.

Warner Robins Middle School students participated in
the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Mathathon.
It is an educationally based fund-raising program in
which students obtain sponsors for the number of math
problems completed in special workbooks provided for
the students. Erin McLendon (center) was the top money
earner with $235. She received a plaque and a CD play
er for her effort. Heather Yake (left) raised $125, Rachel
Trochimowicz (right) raised $103.50, and sarrah Freeman
(not pictured) raised $lO3.
