DANIEL CHARLES (PHAROAH) FORTNEY
WARNER ROBINS - Daniel Charles (Pharoah) Fortney,
62, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Houston
Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 (TODAY), in the chapel of
McCullough Funeral Home.
Fortney was born in Harrisburg, Pa. He has been a resi
dent in Warner Robins since 1958 and attended Green
Acres Baptist Church. He worked as a brickmason for 40
years, won the Golden Glove Southeastern Amateur Boxing
Championship in 1969, a Master Mason’s and past member
of Tyrian Lodge. His parents, Daniel and Clara Fortney,
preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Vincent Fortney (Erenie) of
California, Timothy Fortney of Warner Robins, John
Fortney (Kristina) of Nebraska, Daniel Fortney of Warner
Robins, Mark Fortney (Francis) of Iowa; three brothers;
eight sisters; 17 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Family received family and friends from 6 until 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at 1008 Briarcliff Road, Warner
Robins.

BONAIRE - Michael S. McCoy, 61, passed
away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Houston
Medical Center. Memorial services will be held
at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, in the chapel

McCoy was born in Washington, D.C. He retired from civil
service at Robins Air Force Base. Before his career in the
civil service he served in the U.S. Army, reaching the rank
of major. His wife, Patricia S. McCoy of Macon; father,
Howard S. McCoy, preceded him in death. He will be
remembered for his love of the arts and his sense of divine
silliness.
Survivors include his children, Timothy S. McCoy
(Tasmin) of Hawaii, Richard McNally (Thea) of North
Carolina, Michael A. McCoy (Teresa) of California, John
McCoy (Maureen) of California, Paul McCoy (Mary Kay) of
California; mother, Dorothy McCoy; grandchildren,
Lindsay, Alana, Sophia, and Patrick; brother, Pat McCoy
(Mary) of Mississippi.

Chris was born in Charleston, S.C. He
graduated from Northside High School
in 2003, and was a member of the Demill Drill Team. He
was currently serving in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort
Benning. He was also a member of Warner Robins Moose
Lodge.
Survivors include his parents, Charles and Alison Vinson
of Warner Robins; brother, Marcus Vinson of Warner
Robins; maternal grandmother, Wilma Cox of Warner
Robins; paternal grandmother, Lou Vinson of Greenville,
S.C.; maternal grandfather, Alfred Edge of Myrtle Beach,
S.C.; paternal uncle, David Vinson (Sue) of Greenville, S.C.;
paternal uncle, James Vinson (Louanne) of Columbia, S.C.;
maternal aunt, Cindy Suggs (Kenny) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.;
maternal aunt, Hannah Willard of Murriels Inlet, S.C.
