Court closes

The sign on the door of EZ
Legal Services says “closed
by order of the Superior
Court of Houston County
until further notice.”
Houston Circuit District
Attorney Kelly Burke has
sought and obtained a
restraining order against
Susan Harris prohibiting
the unlawful practice of law.
Harris was reportedly doing
business as EZ Legal
Services at 307 Watson
Blvd., Warner Robins.
“I became concerned that
people may have been pay
ing for what amounts to
legal advice from someone
who is not a lawyer,” Burke
said. “For that reason, we
have sought a restraining
order prohibiting the unau

Ms. Harris.”

any business that would be a

“I am always concerned
when people undertake legal
services on their own,”
Burke said. “The reality is
that the practice of law is a
complex and intricate mat
ter and is best left to lawyers
admitted to practice law in
Georgia.”
He urged everyone who
needs legal assistance to
contact their personal
lawyer or contact the local
bar for a referral to a
lawyer.

Perdue authorized the
purchase of $5 million of

The authorization reflected
the competitive interest rate

Israeli bonds in Georgia.
The governor is also expect

Israel on their Centennial
