AAUW selects Granum winner, installs officers

of University Women
announced Ruth Logan was
this year’s winner of the
Eleanor Granum Award.
Logan’s volunteer activi
ties have included Warner
Robins Little Theatre and
local Storytelling group -
founding member, bicycle
trips to raise money for
American Lung Association
and Methodist Home for
Children and Youth,
Citizen’s Panel Reviewer for
Houston County Juvenile
Court, Lindsey Elementary
School reader, Celebrity
Reader for AAUW,
Cherished Children, and
numerous activities with
Trinity United Methodist
Church.
The American Association
of University Women
recently installed its offi
cers for the coming year.

The Warner Robins Noon Optimist Club presented a
check for SI,OOO to Kyle Ross, Director of Education for
Junior Achievement of Georgia at a regular club meeting.
The check was presented by Shawn Buchanan (right),
Vice-President of Programs, for the sponsorship materi
als for the club starting the Junior Achievement Program
in the fourth grade at Pearl Stephens Elementary School.
