DONALD DUNSTAN
WARNER ROBINS - Donald Dunstan, 45, passed away on Tuesday, Aug.
30, 2005, at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Services will be pri
vate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society-Georgia Chapter, 2625 Cumberland Parkway Suite
205, Atlanta, GA 30339.
Dunstan was bom in Germany. He was a formerly employed with Holox
in Atlanta and currently employed with Temps-R-US. His father, William
Dunstan, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Dunstan of Warner Robins; daugh
ters, Brandy Dunstan of Macon; son, Kenneth Wayne Dunstan of Macon;
sister, Laura Mathews of Warner Robins; brother, Robert Dunstan of
Warner Robins; niece, Emily Mathews of Warner Robins.

ANZO DARLENE FERGUSON
WARNER ROBINS - Anzo Darlene
Ferguson, 81, passed away on Tuesday,
Aug. 30,2005, in her home. Services will be gSsKs;
held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2005
(TODAY), in the chapel of McCullough
Funeral Home, with interment following in Glen Haven
Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at McCullough Funeral Home.
Ferguson was born in Chariton, lowa. She was a mem
ber of Temple Baptist Church of Ninety-Six of South
Carolina. She was first and foremost a loving wife and mother, but was also
retired from the Armed Forces Exchange Service at Robins Air Force Base
in 1981. She was a charter member of the Women in Military Organization
at Arlington National Cemetery. Ferguson had the distinction of being in
the first group of WAVES to serve on the flight line during World War II at
Daytona Naval Air Station in Florida where she met her future husband.
Her husband, Robert Miles; parents, John W. and Mabel Davison; brothers,
John, Edward, and Thomas Davison; grandson, Jason Parrish; sister, Ruth
Pedone, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving and devoted daughters, Carol Parrish of
Macon, Barbara Jo Gibbs (Ted) of Warner Robins, Jackie Ferguson of
Warner Robins, Alice Harris (Bill) of Illinois; brother, Albert Davison
(Claire) of Indiana; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also awaiting the birth of two more great-grandchildren in the
near future.

CHARLES HAYNES MCMULLEN, PH.D
CENTERVILLE - Charles Haynes McMullen, 90, passed away on
Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, at Houston Medical Center. Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Feed the
Children, 333 North Meridian Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73107-6507.
McMullen was born in Tarkio, Missouri. He was a respected and recog
nized expert in the field of library science. The culmination of his life’s
studies “American Libraries before 1876” was published in 2000. He taught
for many years at the Indiana University Library School and the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was an Emeritus Professor of
Library Science. He was head librarian at what is now James Madison
University more than a half century ago. His son, David McMullen; par
ents, Charles and Lille McMullen, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Sun Hauk McMullen of Centerville; son, Joel
McMullen of Centerville; step-daughter, Sun Ae Arinaga of Honolulu,
Hawaii; grandchildren, Jean Murphy, Cindy Yi, Lance Arinaga; great
grandchild, Jean Marie Murphy; siblings, Catherine G. Craig, Modena of
New York, Bryce McMullen of Baltimore, Md.

IRENE JOHNSTON WATSON
WARNER ROBINS - Irene Johnston Watson, 76, passed away on Aug. 30,
2005, at the Houston Medical Center. Watson services will be private.
Watson was born in Calhoun County on Feb. 25, 1929. She was the daugh
ter of the late William Elbert and Nettie Lawrence Johnston. She was a
devoted educator and committed to all of her friends and family. Her life
will be celebrated with family and friends.
Survivors include a son, Joseph P (Ruthanne) Lackey of Warner Robins;
daughters, Leslie (Sonny) Cook of Hiddenite, N.C., and Lynn (Bill)
Davenport of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Lori Pitts of Hiddenite, N.C.,
Jonathan Davenport of Centerville, Kim (Bill) Mitchell of Charlotte, N.C.,
Alex Pham of Lexington, Ky.; two great-grandchildren, Annie Looper of
Hiddenite, N.C., and Heather Mitchell of Charlotte, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
