Luella’s first season play
ing a region schedule as
it resides in the north
sub-region of 3-AAAA.
The Demons are 3-0 and
Luella is 0-3 against a
brutal non-region sched

Way said Luella runs
a wide-open offense,
three or four receivers
deep, with a good passer
at quarterback and a 6-
foot-5 wideout in Jeremy
Ringfield. Way said that
Ringfield, who runs a
4.6 40 and has already
committed to Duke
University, could create
some match-up problems
if Luella is able to execute
its passing plays. Plus,
the coach expects to see
some draws and counters
to keep things honest up
front.
On defense, Way said

Eagles head coach Conrad

Like his Warner Robins
High counterpart, Bryan
Way, also stated this week,
Stockbridge can’t be as bad
as the 70-7 thumping the
top-ranked Demons put
on it this past Saturday

Not only did Johnson
swipe four hags, she scored

support of her pitcher,

Head coach Rodney
Culverhouse said not only
is Johnson a fast runner,
but she’s also smart on the
bases. He said he told the
team to keep an eye on
the visiting catcher and
try to take advantage of
any openings. That’s what
Johnson did.
And, as far as Gilliam,
in the first five innings,

Warner Robins,
Northside and Perry
High schools all came
away with at least some
thing - whether physi
cal or psychological - in
their matchups against
each other Tuesday in the
Demonettes' home court
at Rumble gym.
For Warner Robins,
it was domination and
wins.
The Demonettes opened
the night by sweeping
games and the match
from Perry, 25-12 and 25-
7.
Later they did the same
to Northside, 25-6 and 25-
10.
And speaking of the
Lady Eagles, their con
solation may have come
in the fact they played
Warner Robins tough in
that last matchup of the
night, and in fact, even led
4-2 early - the first time
the Demonettes trailed at
all to either school.
In fact Northside didn't
give up the ship until late,
falling no further than five
points most of the way.
That is until Courtney
Hintz and Catherine
Causey came to the serve
line. They helped Warner
Robins outscore the Lady
Eagles 9-1 and up the lead
to 21-9.
Danielle Garcia, at
serve, along with support
from the rest of the squad,
had no trouble finishing
them off from there.
