OBITUARIES
ROBERT“BOB” KONRADY SR.
LAKE CITY, Fla. - Robert “Bob” Konrady, Sr., 75, of
Lake City, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005,
at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S.C. Services will
be held at 11 a.m. (TODAY) Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in
Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Memorials may
be given to McLeod Hospice House, 1203 E. Cheves Street,
Florence, SC, 29501; The American Cancer Society, EO.
Box 1544, Warner Robins, GA 31099; or The Alzheimer’s
Association, 277 Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite 201,
Macon, GA 31201.
Mr. Konrady was born on May 23, 1930* in Odebolt,
lowa. He lived in Lake City, Fla., since 1972 and moved to
South Carolina in November 2005. In 1964, he founded the
Mobile Manor Trailer Park in Warner Robins and owned
it for over 20 years. He was a surveyor and mark mainte
nance engineer for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration for 35 years, where he received numerous
outstanding achievement and merit awards during his
career. His parents, Peter Augustine and Helena Schoenherr
Konrady, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Robert R Konrady II (Valerie) of
Tickfaw, La.; daughter, Jay me L. Konrady Ferger (Brian) of
Hartsville, S.C.; grandchild, Rebecca V Ferger of Hartsville,
S.C.; and brother, Donald E Konrady (Iris) of Marksville,
La.

es to Project Agape Love. Mia Geiger, Perry Kiwanis
