WRPD seeks three in armed robbery

HHJ staff Writer
Warner Robins Police are seeking three
suspects in an armed robbery Sunday at
Sandpiper Apartments.
At 8:59 p.m., Sunday officers of the Warner
Robins Police Department Patrol Division
were dispatched to Sandpiper Apartments
and upon arrival, two male residents of the
apartment and a third male reported they
were inside the apartment when three black
males entered, one brandishing a pistol. An
undisclosed amount of personal property
was stolen prior to the suspects leaving the
scene.
Police said one of the residents was assault
ed and received minor injuries. He was later
taken to the Houston County Medical Center
where he was treated for his injuries and
released.
The suspects are described as follows:
• A light skinned black male, about 5’ 10”,
170 pounds, wearing a white sweatshirt;
• A light skinned black male, about 6’l”,
170 pounds with a light green colored wind
breaker suit;
• A black male, about 5’10”, 190 pounds,

police allegedly discovered
roughly S4OO in marijuana
on two of the men.

On Saturday, about 5 a.m., the Warner
Robins Police Department received a report
of a robbery in the area 0f404 N. Fifth Street.
Nathaniel Smith of Macon reported that
Eddie James Gray Jr., 27, Warner Robins,
approached him asking for money. When
Smith removed the money from his pocket,
Gray reportedly snatched an undisclosed
amount of money from Smith and ran from
the scene.
Smith ran after Gray and the two engaged
in a struggle. Both individuals received minor
injuries and were transported to the Houston
Medical Center. Gray was charged with rob
bery by sudden snatching and is currently
being held at the Houston County Jail.
