Tahseria Club
golf winners

The Tahseria Club held their annual golf tournament on
Saturday, March 18 at the Perry Country Club. There
were 19 teams participating. All themoney raised goes
back into the community to help families. First place
winners at the Tahseria Golf Tournament were Jackie
Mullis, Lee Jones, Terry Mullis and Richard Burrell.

Committee will attend the
Vision 20/20 meeting on
Wednesday at 10 a.m. in
order to announce the kick
off of the public participa
tion phase of the planning
initiative that is under way.
The Comprehensive Plan is a
collaborative effort between
Houston County and the
Cities of Centerville, Perry
arid Warner Robins, dealing
with future decision-making
related to land use, econom
ic development and quality
of life issues. The meeting,
which will be held in the
Houston County Annex
Building, 200 Carl Vinson
Parkway, Warner Robins, is
open to the public.

Biking around for
Special Olympics
This Saturday is the “One
Lap Around Perry” bicycle
ride for Special Olympics. It
will start at 8 a.m. at the
Police Department with the
25 and 50-mile groups fol
lowed by the 10-mile group.
Children under 16 must be
accompanied by an adult.
Registration starts at 7:30
a.m. The registration fee is
S2O. Each rider will get a
Torch Run t-shirt or cap.
Proceeds go to the Special
Olympics.
