Erica Hudnall, right, holds her awards from her freshman year at Windsor, including the
school’s Scholastic Achievement Award.
Special to the HHJ
Erica Hudnall, a Windsor
Academy student received
the school’s Scholastic
Achievement Award during a
ceremony recently.
Hudnall is the daughter of
Eric and JaLynn Hudnall of
Warner Robins and received
an award for the highest
grade of all Algebra I stu
dents, having an average of
over 100. “That means she
scored a 100 on every test
and got every extra credit
question offered,” said her
proud father.
“Erica has always made
excellence her goal,” added
her mother. “She is extreme
ly bright and very inquisi
tive. Sometimes I think her
teachers aren’t really sure
what to do because she even
does extra assignments when
she doesn’t need to.”

Yes, it was Fess Parker.

Some others thought it was
him in the role of Daniel

Beckie Burnham, Marvin

“I really like to learn,” she
said. “I like to read some
thing or work a math prob

it’s done.’”
That paid off when the
award was given for highest
average for the entire class.
Hudnall was also a member
of the school’s math team.
Outside of school, she works
pretty hard, too, her parents
added. She volunteers in the
nursery at Christ United
Methodist, she works part
time at Pearson Farm in Fort
Valley and has volunteered to
become part of the Zoo Crew
at the Museum of Arts and
Sciences in Macon.
