12 th Annual Golf
Tournament, bring businesses together
T he DeKalb Chamber of
Commerce returns to the
Druid Hills Golf Club on
Monday, August 29 for our 12 th
Annual Golf Tournament. As one
of the largest fundraising events for
the chamber, the golf tournament
provides an opportunity for our
partners and business leaders to
enjoy an exclusive part of DeKalb,
while exploring ways to cultivate
and grow business interests.
At DeKalb Chamber, we
understand the importance of
strong business relationships.
The golf tournament is one of the
most important opportunities for
the chamber to help businesses
build these relationships, and gain
exposure.
Close to 144 women and
men will participate in this golf
tournament. The day will begin with
breakfast in the morning and a shot
gun start at 10 a.m. Golfers will
recommence into foursomes and
compete for hole-in-one, closest to
the pin, longest drive and putting
green contests on 18-holes of golf.
From 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., women
and men will participate in the
womens golf clinic, sponsored by
GiveSmart and Intown Doula, where
they will learn the fundamentals
of playing golf and address their
individual needs. Register separately

The 19 th Hole Reception and
Ceremony, sponsored by Vonage,
will take place at 4:00 p.m. Players
returning from the green can cool
off, participate in the chamber’s
mobile silent auction, receive
awards, and enjoy a masterful meal.

More than 50 women will gather for the 3rd Annual Women’s Golf Clinic.
DeKalb Chamber to use mobile app
for silent auction on August 29
For the first time, DeKalb Chamber will use a mobile app for its
silent auction at the 12 th Annual Golf Tournament on August 29.
Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit DeKalb Chamber of
Commerce.
By using the Silent Auction mobile app, participants do not have
to be present to win. The list of silent auction items include airline
tickets from Delta Air Lines, a one-week car rental from Enterprise, gift
certificates from Inland Seafood, special hotel stay packages, and more.
In addition to the silent auction, DeKalb Chamber will raffle a Big
Green Egg. Raffle tickets start at $10 for one. Three raffle tickets are $25
and seven raffle tickets are $50.
