MANDATORY PRE-PROPOS
AL CONFERENCE
A mandatory Pre-Proposal
Conference will be held in the
Stokes Conference Room at
the Sam A. Moss Service Cen
ter, 1780 Montreal Road, Tuck
er, Georgia 30084 at 10:00
a.m. local time on Thursday,
August 6,2020 All prospective
bidders are required to visit the
project sites. The mandatory
Project Site Visit is scheduled
following the pre-proposal con
ference.
All attendees of the pre-propos
al conference will be required
to register. Proper registration
requires that the attendee has
signed his or her name to the
official roster and listed the
name and address of the com
pany he or she represents on
the official roster no later than
the designated start time of the
pre-proposal conference. Pro
posals submitted by proposers
who have not properly re
gistered and attended the man
datory pre-proposal confer
ence shall be rejected as non-
responsive. Proposers are ad
vised to register early as any
one arriving after 10:15 am will
not be allowed to participate in
the proposal process.

The Housing Authority of the
City of Decatur, GA will be re
ceiving proposals for ++Land-
scaping Services++ for a one
(1) year contract with nine (9)
one-year optional renewals for
a total of ten (10) years.
Due to the COVID-19 pandem
ic this bid was placed on hold
but has now been re-opened.
Please note the below import
ant dates and pre-bid proposal
conference information as it will
be performed via Zoom and not
in person.

The City of Decatur will receive
sealed bids for the 2020 City of
Decatur Resurfacing Project
until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept
11, 2020 at Decatur City Hall,
509 North McDonough Street,
Decatur, Georgia.
Prior to beginning construction
the successful bidder will file
with the City the required Bid
Security, Certificate of Insur
ance and other applicable doc
uments as outlined in the
Section 6: Terms and Condi
tions with the terms and surety
to be approved by the City.
The City reserves the right to
reject any and all bids and to
waive formalities in bidding.
Bids are to be submitted on a
proper form furnished by the

pensation to a jury in this Court,
or of the right to apply for the
appointment of a Special As

this Judgment shall be con
strued only as vested title and

(2) The City of Brookhaven
having applied to me for pos
session, and it being provided
in O.C.G.A. §32-3-12 that “...

later than 30 days from the
date of filing of the Declaration
of Taking, as provided in Code
Section 32-3-6, within which
and the terms upon which the
parties in possession shall be
required to surrender posses
sion to the petitioner”, let all
persons in possession of such
property, as well as named
Condemnees, be served with a
copy of said petition and De
claration of Taking, and this Or
der, and they are hereby direc
ted to surrender possession of
the property to the City of
Brookhaven not later than 30
days from the date of filing of
the Declaration of Taking;
(3) It be further ordered that the
City of Brookhaven is hereby
authorized to grant a written ex
tension of time to the persons
in possession of the con
demned property to extend the
date of possession, and this
decision shall be in sole discre
tion of the City of Brookhaven
and shall be effective upon
terms and conditions pre
scribed by the City of
Brookhaven;
(4) It is further ordered that a
copy of this petition and of said
Declaration be served upon the
tax collecting authorities of said
County;
(5) It being the purpose of this
Order to make certain, so far as
is possible, that all persona
having title to, or interest in, or
claims against the described
property be given notice of the
pendency of this proceeding; it
is further ordered that such ad
ditional service be made as
may be called for by the allega
tions of the petition, together
with the provisions of the Offi
cial Code of Georgia Annot
ated for such service; and, fur
ther that the Clerk of the Super
ior Court shall cause a citation
to be issued and published in
the official newspaper of said
County, entitled in this cause,
describing the property con
demned in this proceeding, re
citing also the filing of the De
claration of Taking by Condem
nor, setting forth the names of

to be owners, or having an in
