Arnold were surprised with the
opportunity of a lifetime as their
hometown honored them with
the 2022 Citizen and Lady of the
Year Awards at the annual ban
quet on Thursday March 30.
This prestigious award is
sponsored through a collabora
tive effort of the Vidalia Lions
Club, Rotary Club, and Kiwanis
Club. Nominations for the award
are accepted annually, and two
award committees - one for the
Lady of the Year and one for the
Citizen of the Year - that consid
er the nominees to determine the
recipient.

Lyons Library Open Full Time

remain open the same hours as the Mark and Tonya Spivey Public Library in Vida
lia after the Toombs County School System and citizens donated funding to the
cause. Nelle Brown Memorial Library Manager Travis McKinley straightens a new
selection of books that were donated by a local patron.
