AHS STUDENTS ATTEND FBLA CONFERENCE
The Apalachee High School Future Business Leaders of America chapter recently
attended the Fall Leadership Conference at the Classic Center in Athens. Seventeen
members of Apalachee’s FBLA chapter attended the conference and all had an
opportunity to participate in exciting leadership sessions, play Monopoly to raise
money for March of Dimes and network with members from FBLA chapters across
the state. All FBLA officers completed an Officer Track to teach them about their
duties and responsibilities in running the organization. At the general session,
students heard from motivational speaker, Byron Garrett and then got to watch a
Business Fashion Extravaganza showcasing proper business attire. FLBA students
are now preparing for upcoming Region competitions.
