OLDER STUDENTS VISIT
Students from Winder-Barrow High School recently spent a day at Holsenbeck
Elementary School reading to students and assisting in the classrooms. Holsenbeck
students were very excited to have “big boys and girls” come to there school and
read to them. The high school students selected books from the media center and
were given a lesson from Karen Gamblin, media specialist, on howto read children’s
book in an engaging manner. Several of the high school students read their books
to students in French and Spanish to the children’s delight.
