BPD arrests, incidents
Man arrested after pointing gun replica at juveniles
A man was recently arrested by the Bra
selton Police Department after children
say he pointed a gun at them. Joshua
John Di Blasi faces charges of disorderly
conduct.
One of the children saw Di Blasi
exchange something with someone near
a pool on Madison Avenue. Di Blasi then
allegedly pulled a black pistol from his
pants and pointed it at her.
When other children arrived, he alleged
ly pointed it at them too.
Officers found Di Blasi and he told them,
“I know what they are talking about.” He
showed officers a replica Colt 1911.
Di Blasi said he was showing the gun
to his friends and denied pointing it at the
kids.

One of the men who was cited for mar
ijuana drove onto the scene and delivered
a book bag.
Officers followed one of the vehicles
and initiated a traffic stop for a brake light

Officers smelled marijuana inside the
vehicle and Morris handed them the sub

officers found baggies of money, along
with baggies containing cocaine and crack

on the phone at their residence. She had
visible injuries. Billman also reported bat
tery, claiming the complainant struck him
with a rake, Billman did have visible inju
ries, but officers determined they didn’t
match his story and there was not blood on
the rake. He also changed his story about
where the rake came from. Billman was
arrested and told not to come back to
the residence. He did not listen and was
later arrested for aggravated stalking
after he returned to the residence. The
complainant said Billman returned to
the residence and she woke up to see
him standing by the bed. He reportedly
jumped into the bed with her and told
her not to call the police before going
to his bedroom. He said he needed his
phone and had no place to go.
•Chad Alan Graus. battery-DVA.
Graus called officers to the scene during
a domestic dispute. He said a woman
who left his residence in March had
returned at the time of the incident
with their children. She reportedly went
upstairs and he tried to get her to talk
to him and she bit him in the face. He
reportedly pushed her down and the
woman tore his shirt and tried to bite
him again before picking up one of the
babies and punching the man in the
face. He had a visible injury on his lip.
The woman’s story was largely differ
ent, though. She told officers Graus con
fronted her about talking, so she locked
herself in the bathroom. Graus allegedly
unlocked the door, then pushed her face
down on the couch and slapped her in
the back of the head. He also reportedly
grabbed the woman and tried to pull her
off the couch, then swung at her when
she tried to get one of their children.
She admitted to swinging back but
wasn’t sure if she hit him. The woman
had several visible injuries including
scratches and bruises.
