A private interment will be held prior to the service at Yo-
nah Memorial Gardens.

Muriel Elizabeth Lerner
Muriel Elizabeth Lerner, 84, passed away on December 25,
2019.
Mrs. Lerner was the daughter of the late Peter Edward Far
rell and Muriel Cook Proudfoot. Mrs. Lemer was the widow
of the late Edward Allen Lemer.
No services are planned at this time.
Survivors include her children, Jeffrey (Karen) Lem
er, Ted (Anne) Lemer. Andrew Lemer, Judith Sweatman
and Beth (Viatcheslav) Davidenko; 14 grandchildren and 5
great-grandchildren.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of arrangements.

Christie Martin Rainwater
JEFFERSON — Christie Martin Rainwater, 61, Jefferson,
entered into rest Friday. December 27. 2019.
Mrs. Rainwater was bom in Gainesville and was a quality
control inspector for Pittsburg Glass Works. In addition to her
parents, Mrs. Rainwater is preceded by a daughter; Andrea
Rainwater.
Survivors include a daughter, Ashley Rainwater, Pender
grass; brother, David Martin, Colorado; sister, Debbie Duck,
Colorado; and two grandchildren, Alex Rainwater and Jaycie
Rainwater also survive.
Funeral service: Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 1 p.m.
from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow
in the Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family to receive friends: Monday, December 30, 2019
from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JEFFERSON — Adam Shallin Rush. 41, Jefferson, en
tered into rest Thursday, December 19, 2019.
Mr. Rush was bom in Co
lumbia, South Carolina, the
son of David Francis Rush
and Rebecca Clackley Rush
of Jefferson, was a member
of Prince Avenue Baptist
Church and a graduate of
Emmanuel College.
In addition to his parents,
Mr. Rush is survived by a sis
ter, Loring Whitlock and her
husband Cody, Maysville;
and three nephews, Case and
Finn Hanley and Ridge Whit
lock.
Graveside service: Monday, December 23,2019 at 11 a.m.
from the Troy Cemetery. Troy, South Carolina.

Mary Imogene Davis McCollum Childs Wright
COMMERCE — Mary Imogene Davis McCollum Childs
Wright, 92, Commerce, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 at
Brookside.
Mrs. Wright was bom in Lavonia to the late Mac Authur
and Ilone Brock Davis. She was a member of First Baptist
Church of Commerce and was retired from Regions Bank. In
addition to her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by
her husbands, Leo McCollum, Norman Childs and William
“Bill” Wright; and a grandson, Kevin Garrison.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughter, Janice Garrison,
Commerce; son, Tim McCollum, Toccoa; grandchildren,
Shell Garrison Withers, LeeAnn Chisom, Kimberly Fiscus,
Paige Watson and Stevie Garrison; and seven great-grandchil
dren.
Funeral service: Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.
at First Baptist Church of Commerce with Dr. Carlton Allen
officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Gar
dens.
Family to receive friends: Monday, December 30, 2019
from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.
